Batman and Robin
The dynamic duo. Another concept for “A Lonely Place of Dying”. The art here is by Tim Sale. This was a convention sketch that I manipulated in Photoshop.
Wolverine
Weapon X Concepts Inspired by the (cough) movie, I decided to work on some mock concepts for one of my favorite Wolverine stories: Weapon X. Drawn by Barry Windsor Smith in the late eighties, it is a masterpiece. I wanted to try some new logos and layout styles, updating this classic Marvel story.
Spider-man
Amazing Fantasy This is a mock cover that I digitally color and did the logo recreation and layout. Another of my favorite artists, John Cassaday, is better known for his Dynamite cover and work on Astonishing X-Men – but, this is a killer cover he did for the ol’ webslinger.
Batman
A Lonely Place of Dying by George Peréz This is a mock cover that I digitally colored and did the layout and logo design. I am a fan of George Peréz and had dinner with him in Kansas City years ago. He is extremely cool and still cranking out amazing comics after more than twenty-five [...]
The Beast
Michael Cho’s amazing art! I digitally colored this fantastic piece of Jack Kirby homage goodness. Check out Michael’s work at http://chodrawings.blogspot.com/.
The X-Men
The Strangest Super-Heroes of All This is a mock cover I digitally colored in Painter and Photoshop and did the logo work on. I love Jim Lee’s work on the X-Men, especially run with Chris Claremont around issue #275.
Codename: Zeus
Lightning does strike twice. Here is a five page promo for a book called “Codename: Zeus” that I did the design and lettering for. This project is headed by Daniel Vest with Graykin Entertainment.
